Marc Bonavia begins his professional career as a scientist investigator in Netherlands (LACDR) and after his experience at Barcelona TV (BTV), he discovered his vocation in the field of communications. In 2000 he co-founded SIT Mobile with Enric Solé.
Nowadays, SITmobile is a European company headquartered in Barcelona that provides SMS and Bluetooth solutions in all shapes and forms to world class clients.
For example, our solution for the ‘nightlife’ industry helps top promoters, events organisers and nightclubs send sensitive, targeted and personalised messages to their clientele - utilising the strengths of SMS (immediacy, ticketability, personal, ubiquitous device) with clever tools to avoid bad SMS usage (‘spam’).
By developing our own software and also working with the best technology providers across the world, we fulfil our promise to our clients to provide the best technology and the best channels to contact and be contacted, whether that means SMS, BLUETOOTH or MMS, VOICE or EMAIL, WAP or 3G.
Founded in 2001 we now have 45 people spread between Barcelona, Madrid, London and Rome.
