NEXT, a process aimed at exploring the transformation of the “business operating system” (BOS) of a company, through the engagement of a selection of some of its relevant members.
NEXT, dare to think on a ten years perspective in a complex economy and sophisticated markets, the only way to stay competitive in the next 5 years may be to dare to think on a 10-year perspective.
The participants (typically managing directors or high-growth employees) work on a mission to explore ways to improve or disrupt the company’s business operating system. They do so by learning and tinkering about new emerging models in 4 components of the BOS: market engagement (responding faster to market needs), people dynamics (new forms of organization and of talent management), technology enablers (tools, methods and processes), as well as value engines (ways to rapidly transform ideas into value proposals).
New business operating system
The NEXT process is made of two main components: bringing the future from outside through the NEXT stimulus, and shaking the working team through hands-on tinkering on the next tools of the trade through the NEXT shake.
